I know some might be thinking this just looks like another bowl of guacamole, but I promise this one is BOMB. The difference being is a little heavy on the lime and adding some cumin. Yaaasss cumin gives most Mexican dishes life!! This Ole Guacamole tastes so yummy as a dip, side or topping. And guess what, it’s easy.
- 4 avocados, peeled, deseeded and chopped
- 2 tomatoes chopped
- 1 medium purple onion chopped
- 1 bunch of cilantro chopped
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. ground chili powder (optional)
- Lime juice of 2 limes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Now, if you are not a huge fan of cumin or chili powder, start off with a little, taste it and increase spices if needed. Because we are doing a low carb diet, we love dipping veggies instead of chips. We do slices of red and green bell peppers, cucumbers and even celery and love it. We also love putting it on steak or as a side with scrambled eggs. If you try this Ole Guacamole recipe, leave a comment below and tag me in your recipe photo on social media.
